Important Note:
- WARNING!: This firmware update is specifically for the Pioneer® DVR-103 and DVR-104 DVD-RW drives. Do not install this update if you do not have one of these drives in the computer, as it may render the drive or system inoperable. Use the steps below to check whether or not your computer has the Pioneer® DVR-103 and DVR-104 DVD-RW Drive installed.
- Please eject any discs that may be in the DVD-RW drive before installing this update.
- After updating the drive firmware, the DVD-RW drive will be listed under My Computer as a "CD Drive". If this occurs, restart the computer again to allow it to update the drive name to "DVD-R Drive".
- During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
