1. Download the WLEAKYBD.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. On the Taskbar, right-click on the Vaio Smart Keyboard icon.
3. From the menu, click Exit.
4. Click Yes to confirm the exit.
5. Click Start>highlight Settings> click Control Panel.
6. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
7. Scroll down and click to highlight Vaio Smart Keyboard.
8. Click the Add/Remove.. button.
9. Click Yes to completely remove "VAIO Smart Keyboard and all of its components".
10. Click Yes To All to remove shared files.
11. Click Yes to confirm the shared file removal.
12. Click OK once the uninstall has successfully completed.
13. Click OK to close the Add/Remove Programs Properties window.
14. Click the X at the top right to close the Control Panel window.
15. Go to the folder where the WLEAKYBD.EXE file was downloaded and double-click on the WLEAKYBD.EXE file. Installation files will then be extracted to the current folder.
16. When the activity in the MS-DOS box stops, click the X at the top right to close the MS-DOS window.
17. From the location of the extracted files double-click on the Setup.exe icon.
18. At the Welcome to VAIO Smart Keyboard Setup box, click Next.
19. Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and click OK.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Vaio Smart Keyboard Upgrade is complete.

This utility installs a Vaio Smart Keyboard Upgrade to resolve an issue where the computer hangs up when going into stand by, coming out of stand by, or when restarting the system to MS-DOS mode.

• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
