Download & Install Guide:
- Download the TWAIN15C.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the TWAIN15C.EXE file to begin the installation.
- A self-extractor message box will open. Click on the Unzip button to extract the files to the C:WINDOWSTEMP directory.
- Click on OK to close the "unzipped successfully" message box.
- Click on Close in the Self-Extractor message box to close it.
- Using Windows Explorer, go to folder C:WINDOWSTEMP.
- Find file SETUP.EXE and double-click on it to run the setup utility. Follow the prompts to install the TWAIN Driver.
- You must restart the computer for changes to take effect.
- You may delete the files from your C:WINDOWSTEMP directory. You may wish to copy Twain15c.EXE onto a floppy to save it in case you need to reinstall the TWAIN drivers.
NOTE: If you reload Sony DSC-F1 camera utility software from the CD supplied with the camera, you will need to reinstall Twain15c.EXE from the floppy created in step 11 above. Simply double-click on it on the floppy, then proceed with step four above.

This utility installs the Sony® DSC TWAIN driver.
Important Note:
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions and the ReadMe.txt file that will appear as a reference during the installation process. The README.TXT file explains how to complete the upgrade using the floppy disk.
