1. Download the TP3.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the TP3.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. Click on the Unzip button to extract the files required for the upgrade to the C:WINDOWSTEMP folder. If a message appears asking you to abort the unzip, click NO.
4. After the files have been unzipped, click OK to close the "Successfully Unzipped" message box.
5. Click on the Close button to close the Self-Extractor message box.
6. Using Windows Explorer, go to folder C:WINDOWSTEMP.
7. Find file SETUP.EXE and double-click on it to run the setup utility.
8. Select "Express Setup."
9. Restart Windows when prompted by clicking on the "Restart" button.
10. The computer will show a "New Device" message that it has detected a new TouchPad on the PS/2 Port. Follow the setup prompts offered by the driver software, selecting the features you desire.
11. When finished setting up the TouchPad, click on OK to close the Mouse Properties window.
12. You may delete the temp files created in the C:windows emp directory. You may wish to store the download executable, TP3.EXE, to a floppy disk in case you need to reinstall this mouse driver after running a system recovery.

The installation of the Mouse and TouchPad Driver Upgrade is complete.

• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions and the "NT Drivers install.txt" file that will appear as a reference during the installation process.
