1. Download the TMQ0003BKM.EXE file to the root C: directory on your computer. Do not save the file in any sub-folder or subdirectory. This update will not execute if the TMQ0003BKM.EXE file is run from any other location.
2. Locate the TMQ0003BKM.EXE file in C: and double-click it to begin the installation.
   Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation process. As the installation proceeds, these boxes will close automatically. If a previous version of PC-cillin is still installed, it will be uninstalled automatically.
   NOTE:  If a "You must reboot your computer to finish uninstalling Trend PC-cillin 2000." message box appears, click OK to restart the computer. As the computer restarts, be sure to log-in again using the same user account as the one in which the installation was started.
3. At the "PC-cillin 2000 - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next.
4. At the "License Agreement" screen, you will need to select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" before you can continue.
5. After accepting the License Agreement, click Next.
6. At the "Customer Information" screen, type in your name (and company) into the appropriate fields and then click Next.
7. At the "Destination Folder" screen, click Next.
8. At the "Ready to Install the Program" screen, click Install.
9. At the "InstallShield Wizard Completed" screen, click Finish.

The installation of the Trend Micro™ PC-cillin™ 2000 AntiVirus Utility is complete.

This update resolves the Trend Micro™ PC-cillin™ Application Error: "Real-time I/O Service does not work."

• After the installation of this update is complete, it is strongly recommended that you update the PC-cillin™ anti-virus definitions to the most current versions. For more information, please consult the PC-Cillin™ application online help.
• If you restore the computer to the original factory-shipped configuration by using the Sony System Recovery CD, this update will need to be reinstalled. For convenience, you may wish to create a backup of this file to an external drive or removable media, such as a CD-RW disc.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
