1. Download the SPI_ME.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SPI_ME.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony Programmable I/O Control Device for Microsoft Windows Millennium - Welcome" box, click "Continue".
   NOTE: Several setup boxes will appear during the installation of the driver setup files. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "Setup Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click "Finish".
   NOTE: If a "Confirm File Deletion" box appears, you have already installed this update. Click OK to remove the existing installation files and then repeat steps 4-6 to reinstall the update.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Kawasaki LSI USB-Ethernet Device Driver is complete.

• Before installing Microsoft® Windows® Me operating system or Windows Me software updates from Sony, please be sure to read the Sony Installing the Microsoft® Windows® Me Operating System information. Most of the Windows Me software updates from Sony require you to install Windows Me operating system as an upgrade to the Sony factory-shipped version of Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) operating system. If Windows 98 or Windows 98 SE operating system is removed from the computer before installing Windows Me operating system, or if Windows Me operating system is installed in a different directory than the default selection (C:Windows), most of the Windows Me updates from Sony will not install correctly.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
