1. Download the SOR120XNB2.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOR120XNB2.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At "Sony Notebook LCD 1.2.0 Driver For Windows XP- InstallShield Wizard" click Next. Please wait for driver to install.
4. This driver is not WHQL certified,when a " Hardware Installation" warning message appears, click " Continue Anyway" to continue LCD driver installation. This message may appear 3 to 4 times.
   Note: This driver will install default 1024 x 768 screen resolution. If desired, please follow these steps to change to a different video resolution.
5. At the "Setup Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and then click Finish.

After the computer has restarted, the installation of the Sony® LCD Driver will be complete.

• Before installing this update, be sure the computer is running from AC power. If the installation of the BIOS is interrupted by power loss, the computer may not operate correctly or at all!
• Before installing this BIOS revision, you will need to prepare a 3½ floppy disk. For additional assistance, please see Creating a Bootable Floppy Disk for Windows XP BIOS Updates.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
