1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the SOP8N2KNC2.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOP8N2KNC2.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "SONY® Shared Library - InstallShield Wizard" screen, click "Next".
   Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the computer model, click "OK". After the computer restarts, please continue with step 5 above.
5. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." and click "Finish" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® Shared Library is complete.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
