Download & Install Guide:
- Download the SOP281XDCA.EXE file to a temporary or download directory of the computer�s hard drive (please note this directory for reference).
- Insert the Driver Recovery CD that came with the computer into the CD/DVD drive.
- Navigate to the Support folder of Driver Recovery CD, and double-click to install the MXpatch file This will update the SonicStage™ Core components.
- Exit the Driver Recovery CD and remove it from the drive.
- On the Windows operating system Taskbar, right-click on the Timer Recording Manager icon (clock shape), and click Exit. NOTE: If unable to locate the icon, click the arrow on the taskbar to view all task bar items. If the clock icon still does not appear, then the program is not active. Please continue to the next step below.
- At the "Timer Recording Manager Warning" screen, click Yes. NOTE: At the end of this installation process the computer will be restarted and the Timer Recording Manager will reappear on the taskbar.
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOP281XDCA.EXE file to begin the installation.
- Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation.

Important Note:
- This update only applies to PCV-MX10 computers with SonicStage™ Premium software version 1.0 installed.
- BEFORE installing this update, it is necessary to install the MXpatch file which is located in the Support folder of Driver Recovery CD that came with the computer. This will update the Sonic Stage Core components.
- Please run this update from the local hard drive (C: or D:). Installation of this update from an attached optical drive or other external storage drive may fail.
- During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
