1. Download the SOP1011NDP.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOP1011NDP.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony® Smart Capture Utility - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the system model, click OK. After the computer restarts, please continue with step 5 above.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." is selected and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® Smart Capture Utility is complete.

• Before installing this utility, you must first install the following Core Driver components in the order listed below:

  2. Sony Programmable I/O Control Device
  3. Sony Utility Dynamic Link Library
  4. Sony Shared Library
  5. Sony UI Library
  6. Graphics Controller Driver
  7. Audio Device Driver
  8. Sony MOTION EYE® Video Capture Device Driver
  9. Sony Smart Capture Ready Utility
  
  If you have already installed these components on the computer (for another Microsoft® Windows® 2000 software update), it is not necessary to reinstall them.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
