1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the SOOOTH-00942801-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOOOTH-00942801-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "Sony® i.LINK Setting Program for Microsoft® Windows® XP" screen, click "Next".
5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
   NOTE: Several setup boxes may briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
6. At the "Install" box, Click "OK" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the i.LINK® settings is complete.

This utility applies new i.LINK® settings to the computer to resolve an issue that may occur when multiple files are copied to an i.LINK hard disk drive.

• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
