1. Download the SOD4503NBD.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOD4503NBD.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony USB Mouse Driver For Windows 2000 and XP - InstallShield Wizard" box , click Next.
   NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the system model, click OK. After system reboots, please continue with step 5 above.
   
   
4. For Windows 2000:
   1. At the "Welcome" screen, click Next.
   2. At the "Start Installation" screen, click Next.
   3. At the "Setup Complete" screen, click Finish to complete the installation.
   
   
5. For Windows XP:
   1. Please wait for the driver to be installed to your system.
   2. At the "Setup Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and then click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony USB Mouse Driver is complete.

• For Windows 2000 systems only: Before installing this update, be sure to disconnect any USB pointing devices that may currently be connected, including the Sony USB Mouse.
• For Windows XP systems only: Before installing this update, be sure to connect the Sony USB mouse to the computer.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
