1. Download the SOAVMS-00633301-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAVMS-00633301-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
   NOTE: Please wait as the utility extracts the installation files and checks the computer model.
3. At the "Welcome to VAIO Media Integrated Server Update for Microsoft® Windows® XP" screen, click "Next".
4. At the "Ready to Install" screen, click "Install".
5. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click "Finish".
6. At the "Restart" dialog, click "OK" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® VAIO Media™ Integrated Server Update is complete.

This utility updates the Sony® VAIO Media™ Integrated Server version 2.6.x application and resolves the following issues:

• VAIO Media Music Server™ cannot play OMA format files after SonicStage® 2.x or a related application changes the file format from OpenMG™ (OMG) format to OpenMG Audio (OMA) format.
• A "UPnPFramework.exe" error occurs intermittently.

• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
