1. Download the SOA5K21NLG.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOA5K21NLG.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "BIOS Installation Utility For PCG-F640 - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Please wait for BIOS file to copy to the floppy disk.
4. Verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and click Finish. Be sure to leave the floppy disk in the drive. The computer will boot to the floppy disk and run the BIOS update utility. After the update is complete, the utility will turn off the computer.
5. Wait a few seconds and turn the computer back on.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the BIOS is complete.

• Before installing this BIOS revision, you will need to create a bootable floppy disk to receive the BIOS update files. For additional assistance, please see Creating a Bootable Floppy Disk.
• For Windows 2000 Systems Only: During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
