1. Download the SO-Z10000802BB04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-Z10000802BB04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony® Remote Assistance Patch for Microsoft® Windows® XP" box, click Next.
4. At the "License Agreement" box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "Finished" box, click Finish, then click OK, to restart your computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® Remote Assistance Patch is completed.

This utility installs the Sony® Remote Assistance Patch to resolve the issue where running Remote Assistance in the Windows® Messenger program causes a VAIO® Help and Support error window with the text "Cannot display the page" to appear.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
