1. Download the SO-V12910801HR04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-V12910801HR04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony Fan Control Utility For Microsoft Windows XP" box, click Next.
4. At the License Agreement dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation. Please wait for the program to verify the computer model and install the driver.
   NOTE:  The screen will flash as Fan Control Utility is installed.
5. At the "Install" box, click OK to restart computer.

After the computer restarts, installation of the Sony® Fan Control Utility is complete.

This utility installs the originally shipped version of the Sony® Fan Control Utility.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
