1. Download the SO-P90300801JF03US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the SO-P90300801JF03US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony® VAIO Remote Commander Utility for Microsoft® Windows® XP" box, click Next.
4. At the "License Agreement" dialog box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "Confirm File Deletion" box, click OK.
6. At the "InstallShield Wizard" box, click Finish.
7. At the "Finish" box, click Finish, then OK to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO™ Remote Commander utility is complete.

This utility updates the VAIO Remote Commander utility to resolve the issue where the 0, Jump, and Enter buttons on the Remote Commander do not function when watching TV using the VAIO Media™ application.

• This update requires VAIO Media™ 2.6 to be installed. Please download and install the SO-Q02100803KT03US.EXE update.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
