Download & Install Guide:

  1. Download the SDMV72W.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SDMV72W.EXE file to begin the installation.

  3. At the "SDM-V72W Information File" window, and select the directory to which the files are to be extracted and click OK.
    NOTE: The monitor files can either be extracted to a directory on your computer hard drive or onto a floppy disk.

    • To extract the files onto a floppy disk:  Leave the A: entry, and put a floppy disk in the computer floppy disk drive.
    • To extract the files to a directory on your computer hard drive:  Click the Browse button. At the "Browse for Folder" window, navigate to the desired directory, and click OK.
      NOTE: Please wait as the files are extracted.
  4. Go to the directory to which the files were extracted. Please follow the steps below to install the .INF file in the Windows® XP operating system. Please note that these steps will vary by operating system.
  5. Click Start and click Control Panel.
  6. At the "Control Panel" window, click Appearance and Themes.
  7. At the "Appearance and Themes" window, click the Display icon.
  8. At the "Display Properties" window, click the Settings tab.
  9. Click the Advanced button located at the bottom-right of the window.
  10. Click the Monitor tab.
  11. Click to select "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display."
  12. Click the Properties button.
  13. Click the Driver tab.
  14. Click the Update driver button.
  15. At the "Welcome to the Hardware Update Wizard" screen, click to select "Install from a list or specific location," and then click Next.
  16. At the "Please choose your search and installation options" screen, click to select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install." and then click Next.
  17. At the "Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware" screen, click the Have disk button.
  18. At the "Install From Disk" box, do one of the following based upon the location of the Monitor .inf file.
    • If the files are on a floppy disk: Leave the A: entry and click OK.
    • If the files are on a directory on your computer hard drive: Click the Browse button. At the "Locate File" window, navigate to the directory, click to highlight the SnyLCD21.inf file, and click Open.
  19. After installation is finished, click Finish
  20. Click the X in the top-right corner to close all open windows.
    NOTE: If necessary, remove the floppy disk from the floppy disk drive.
