1. Download the SCC15W2K.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SCC15W2K.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony Camera Control Utility v1.50.03e for Windows 2000 - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "Choose Setup Language" box, select "English" and click OK.
5. At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Camera Control Utility" screen, click Next.
6. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click Finish.
7. Restart the computer.
   1. Click Start and click Shut Down.
   2. At the "Shut Down Windows" box, select "Restart" (if it isn't already selected) and click OK.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony Camera Control Utility is complete.

Uninstall Instructions

If it is necessary to reinstall the Sony Camera Control Utility, you will need to first remove the SCC15W2K.EXE installation files. To do so, please follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
2. At the "Control Panel" window, double-click Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. At the "Add/Remove Programs" box, from the "Currently installed programs" list, click the "Camera Control Utility" entry to highlight it.
4. Click the "Change/Remove" button.
5. At the "Choose Setup Language" box, select "English" and click OK.
6. At the "Welcome" screen, select "Remove" and click Next.
7. At the "Confirm File Deletion" box, click OK.
8. At the "Locked File Detected" box, click the check box next to the "Don't display this message again" box (to check it) and click the Reboot button. Please wait as the files are uninstalled.
9. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" window, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish.
10. After the computer restarts, click the X in the top-right corner to close the "Control Panel" window.

The uninstallation process is now complete. You may redownload and reinstall the SCC15W2K.EXE file.

This utility installs the Sony® Camera Control Utility.

• Before installing this update, please be sure to first install the Sony MOTION EYE Video Capture Device Driver, Version 1.0.16.1097.
• Before installing Windows 2000 Professional or this update, please be sure to read Installing the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Operating System. Most of Sony's Windows 2000 software updates require you to install Windows 2000 Professional in C:WINNT. If Windows 2000 is not installed in this location, these updates will not install correctly.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
