1. Download the PPKTIMER.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the PPKTIMER.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. On the first screen, follow the instructions in the grey dialogue box to close the PPK Setup application.
4. After PPK Setup is closed, click Next. The update files will be copied to the default directory C:WindowsTempPPK Timer. You can either continue with the default directory (recommended) or choose to copy the update files to a different directory. Please document this directory for reference.
5. Click Finish to copy the files to the chosen directory.
6. At the "Copying Completed!" message, click OK.
7. At the "Warning" message, click Yes to restart your system.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the PPK Setup Timer Update is complete.

This update resolves the issue where when the Programmable Power Key (PPK) timer is scheduled to launch an application, the system timer automatically gains three minutes for every hour of system operation.

• The PPK Setup application must be closed before updating your system. If it is not closed the update may not install properly.
• The version number 1.05.00.02150 is the version of the update only. The application version is not affected.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
