1. Download the NV-B42310201BM.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the NV-B42310201BM.EXE file to begin the installation. Several setup boxes will briefly appear as the files are extracted and the computer model is identified. As these processes complete, the boxes will close automatically.
3. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the nVIDIA® GeForce2 MX Graphics Controller Driver is complete.

This utility will update the nVIDIA® GeForce2 MX Graphics Controller Driver and resolve the issue where nothing is displayed when connecting an SXGA LCD display to the system using the DVI connector.

• There is a related issue where the BIOS screen is not displayed when an SXGA digital display is connected to the computer through the DVI connector. To resolve this issue you must also download and install the nVIDIA GeForce2 MX Video BIOS Update Utility for your computer as listed below:

  • NV-ASN030201BJ.EXE for the PCV-RX380DS, PCV-RX462DS, PCV-RX463DS, PCV-RX465DS, PCV-RX470DS, PCV-RX480DS, PCV-RX490DS
  • NV-ASN050201BT.EXE for the PCV-RX370DS
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
