1. Download the NMG5W98.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the NMG5W98.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "NeoMagic MagicMedia256AV Graphics Adapter Driver Utility - Welcome" box, click "Continue".
   NOTE: Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
5. If a "ReadOnly File Detected" box appears, click the box next to "Don't display this message again" to check it and then click "Yes".
6. At the "Setup Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" (if it isn't already selected) and click "Finish".
   NOTE: If a "Confirm File Deletion" box appears, you have already installed this update. Click "OK" to remove the existing installation files and then repeat this procedure, starting with step 4, to reinstall the update.


As the computer restarts, the video hardware is redetected and the updated drivers installed.
7. At the "System Settings Change" box, click "Yes" to restart the computer again.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the NeoMagic™ MagicMedia™ 256AV Display Adapter Driver is complete.
