1. Download the MDVD321XPS.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the MDVD321XPS.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation. After the installation is complete, restart the computer.

Uninstallation Instructions

If it is necessary to reinstall this version of Media Bar, you must first uninstall the previous installation. Please follow the steps below to uninstall Media Bar.

1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
2. At the "Control Panel" window, click the Add or Remove Programs category.
3. At the "Add or Remove Programs" box, from the list of "Currently installed applications", click the "Media Bar 3.2.11" entry.
4. Click the "Change/Remove" button.
5. At "Confirm File Deletion" box, click OK. Please wait as the files are uninstalled.
6. At the "Maintenance Complete" screen, click Finish.
7. Click Close to exit the "Add or Remove Programs" box.
8. Click the X in the top-right corner to close the "Control Panel" window.
9. Restart the computer.
   1. Click Start and click Turn Off Computer.
   2. At the "Turn off computer" menu, click Restart.

After the computer has restarted, you may redownload and reinstall the MDVD321XPS.EXE update.

This program will install the Sony® Media Bar DVD Player, Version 3.2.11.09070 for the Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating Systems

• Please read the Sony Windows® XP Upgrade Information page, if the computer will be or has been upgraded to the Windows® XP operating system. If the new operating system is not installed or configured correctly, some updates may not install properly.
• If it is necessary to reinstall this version of Media Bar, you must first uninstall the previous installation. Steps to uninstall the previous version are listed below.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
