1. Download the IT-Q11890802CQ04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the IT-Q11890802CQ04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "WinDVD Update Utility for Microsoft® Windows® XP " window, click Next.
4. At the "Software License Agreement" dialog box, read the agreement, then if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "WindDVD Patch" dialog box, click "Accept".
6. At the "Finished" window, click Finish, then click OK to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the WinDVD® software patch is completed.

This utility will install the WinDVD® software patch and SigmaTel® C-Major™ audio driver patch to resolve the following issues:

• The DVD playback stutters.
• The WinDVD®4 software cannot play AC-3 stream via SPDIF out when SPDIF out is selected, after the DirectSound is turned ON.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
