1. Download the GP41PTCH.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the GP41PTCH.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Giga Pocket 4.1 Patch - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." (if it isn't already selected) and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the Giga Pocket 4.1 Patch installation is complete.

This utility updates the Giga Pocket™ software and provides the following enhancements:

• Improves the external TV output image quality.
• Allows the Media Bar DVD Player to output video to an external TV.
• Improves the accuracy of the Closed Caption feature.

• If the computer is completely restored to the original factory-shipped configuration using the System Recovery CDs, this update will need to be reinstalled.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
