1. Download the GAMEPORT.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the GAMEPORT.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. Follow the prompts during the installation to complete the setup.

NOTE: After the upgrade installation is complete, please turn off the notebook, undock it from the Docking Station, and then restart the computer. The Microsoft Windows 98 operating system will then rebuild the undock configurations in the notebook. This will prevent the notebook from getting unexpected results when you click Start and then Ejection on the Start menu.

The installation of the docking station Game Port device driver is complete.

This utility upgrades the Game Port device driver to resolve the issue where the docking station game port becomes inoperative after you upgrade the computer to the Microsoft® Windows® 98 operating system.

• Before installing this update, ensure that the PCGA-DB7 or PCGA-DH7 Docking Station is attached to the notebook.
• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
