1. Download the FANC261.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the FANC261.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Fan Control Windows 2000 Driver 1.1.00.07261 - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Please wait as the software checks the system and extracts the update files.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® Fan Control Driver is complete.
