This utility installs an updated version of the Xperia Link™ software and provides the following changes and benefits:

• Adds QR (Quick Response) Code functionality
• Resolves an issue where the Xperia Link application is unable to obtain the MAC address on device using Android® OS version 6.0
• Resolves an issue where the Xperia Link application fails to connect the Sony® Xperia smart phone to a VAIO® computer when the wireless network name SSID (Service Set Identifier) contains non-ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) characters
• Resolves an issue where the Xperia Link application is unable to automatically establish tethering after the computer returns from a shut down
• Resolves an issue where the Xperia Link application fails to connect the Sony Xperia® smart phone with Android OS version 4.4 or higher to a VAIO® computer
