1. Download the CY-Q30300801HN03US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the CY-Q30300801HN03US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "PowerDVD XP for VAIO Update" box, click Next. Please wait for this update to check your system information and install this update.
4. At the "PowerDVD XP for VAIO update has been successfully installed" screen, click Finish.

This program installs the Cyberlink PowerDVD® XP Version 4.0 Update Utility to resolve the following issues:

• Playback problems occur with DVDs (DVD-RW) written by "TMPGEnc DVD Author".
• With DxVA=ON, playback of the "Men in Black II" movie DVD stops repeatedly at same point and may result in a green screen.
• The DVD menu will not display for a DVD-VR disc.
• The PowerDVD software functions unexpectedly when playing back a DVD title (DVD-RW disc) at 8x speed.
• When resuming from Standby, the PowerDVD software window may expand beyond the desktop if the display resolution is set at 800x600.
• The Power DVD software exits unexpectedly when switching the image between monitor and TV.

Enhancements:

• The Color Control Setting for video is improved.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
