What this drivers do:
This utility installs an EMM386 Update to resolve the following error message received during startup:
- "EMM386 DMA buffer is too small. Add d=48 to the EMM386 line in Config.sys. If you do not have an EMM386 line consult your documentation for help on installing EMM386."
Important Note:
- While the error message referenced above states to add d=48 to the EMM386 line, the actual addition by this update is d=64. This is the correct value.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
