1. Download the COC513XNFJ.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the COC513XNFJ.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Conexant-Ambit® SoftK56 Data/Fax Modem Driver - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the system model, click OK. After the system reboots, please continue with step 5 above.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Conexant-Ambit® SoftK56 Data/Fax Modem Driver is complete.

This utility updates the Conexant-Ambit® SoftK56 Data/Fax Modem driver to resolve an issue that occurs when upgrading the computer to the Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system.

• This update must be installed BEFORE you begin the upgrade process to the Microsoft Windows XP Professional Operating System.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
