1. Download the COC4181NAD.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the COC4181NAD.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Conexant-Ambit® SoftK56 Data/Fax Modem Driver - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear as the files are extracted and the computer model is identified. As these processes complete, the boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the computer model, click OK. After the computer reboots, please continue with step 5 above.
   NOTE: If there is a "Digital Signature Not Found" window, click Yes.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish. As the computer restarts, the modem hardware will be redetected and the updated drivers will be installed.

The installation of the Conexant-Ambit® SoftK56 Data/Fax ICH Modem Driver is now complete.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
