1. Download the AWA4LVXNGE.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the AWA4LVXNGE.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "BIOS 1004LV Update Utility For Window XP" box, click Next.
4. At the BIOS update box, click OK. Do not allow the computer system to enter standby or hibernation mode during the update process. Please wait as the BIOS is updating, it will take one to two minutes to complete.
5. At the "BIOS update is successful. Please Restart now", screen box, click OK. The computer will boot up to the BIOS setup utility screen.
6. At the "AwardBIOS Setup Utility" screen, press the ESC key.
7. From the "Exit" menu, press the DOWN ARROW key until "Load Setup Defaults" is highlighted, and then press ENTER.
8. At the "Setup Confirmation" box, verify "Yes" is highlighted and then press ENTER.
9. From the "Exit" menu, verify "Exit (Save Changes)" is highlighted and then press ENTER.
10. At the "Setup Confirmation" box, verify "Yes" is highlighted and press ENTER.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the BIOS update is complete.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
