1. Download the ATVDOW2K.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the ATVDOW2K.EXE file to begin the installation. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If a "Confirm File Deletion" box appears, you have already installed this update. Click "OK" to remove the existing installation files and then repeat the procedure starting with step 2 to reinstall the update.
3. At the "Welcome to ATI Rage Mobility-M1 AGP (English) 'Certified Driver' Install Utility - InstallShield Wizard" screen, click "Next".
   NOTE: The ATI Windows 2000 Driver Setup will start.
4. At the "Welcome" box, click "Next".
5. At the "Software License Agreement" box, click "Yes" to accept the agreement.
6. At the "Setup Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click "Finish". As the computer restarts, the video hardware will be redetected and the drivers will be installed.
   NOTE: The installation of these drivers will reconfigure the video settings. To adjust the video settings to your preferred settings, continue with the Changing the Resolution page.

The installation of the ATI Rage Mobility-M1 Display Adapter driver is complete.

• Before installing Windows 2000 Professional or this update, please be sure to read Installing the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Operating System. Most of Sony's Windows 2000 software updates require you to install Windows 2000 Professional in C:WINNT. If Windows 2000 is not installed in this location, these updates will not install correctly.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
